It may take up to 20 years before these mountains return to their pre-burn state. Point Mugu State Park and several State Beaches are closed indefinitely, and the Backbone National Recreation Trail is also effectively closed.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]I’ve updated the site pages and added links to fire and closure information for each of the above sites on their individual pages. Below are links to opportunities for you to donate to disaster relief efforts assisting the people, animals, and places affected by this horrific wildfire.
- Volunteer or donate to the American Red Cross, which is providing aid and disaster relief for the Woolsey, Hill, and Camp Fires.
- Donate to the Southern California Disaster Relief Fund, administered by United Way of Greater Los Angeles, and providing disaster relief for those affected by the Woolsey and Hill Fires.
- Donate to the Ventura County Community Foundation, providing disaster relief for those affected by the Woolsey and Hill Fires.
- Donate to ‘Noah’s Legacy’ Disaster Relief Fund, administered by Los Angeles County Animal Care Foundation, for animals injured and/or separated from their homes as a result of the Woolsey Fire.
